The Mini Wallflowers Picture is a handmade and made to order item, so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.

Creative Process

The piece has been made using a variety of glass mediums. The stems are hand painted on a clear glass base using glass paints made for fusing and then small pieces of coloured glass and have been arranged to make the design. The piece is then fired in the kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass only just starts to melt and becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength. The fired glass design piece has then been carefully mounted onto the glass of a box frame and is ready to hang.

The glass piece measures approx. 7cm x 6cm.

The Wallflowers picture box frame measures approximately 12.5cm X 12.5cm square and 3.5cm deep. Every item in the shop is handmade by me and then carefully packed and sent by ‘signed for’ Royal Mail using only recycled, biodegradable or paper packaging.
