This is the non piercing type S30 valve with 2cap, for use with the S30 gas Cylinder which I have used happily over the years, although I have to admit, I now find the 8 gram Co2BulbSystem preferable, as replacement bulbs can be sent by mail order.

Also, the space above my barrel is now limited to about 7" to accommodate all the Brewing Kits and spares I keep on the shelf above, whereas the S30 Cylinder height requirement is approx. 14 as opposed to 4"- 5" with the 8 gram Bulb pressure top upsystem, use specially formulated, Pressure Barrel Seal Grease available from Balliihoo to ensure a good airtight seal with no fear of Contaminating the brew.
