For years I ignored the Electric Wrap Around Brew Belt Heater, in favour of an old and dangerous low wattage electric Greenhouse Heater given to me by my father-in-law thinking I’d save money and possible frustration  that a belt may not be as effective as his cherished free gift! (on reflection, I think he was trying to kill me!) . . . . I now know what an idiot I was, this Brew Belt is excellent and holds the correct temperature depending on the height it’s strapped on the barrel, higher = cooler, lower = hotter - simple rocket science! (+ 2 narrow strips of Gaffa Tape help keep it in place - more serious rocket science!).
