"First steps in winemaking" for me, was buying and making a cheap un-named wine kit without instructions, from a one-off Car Boot sale held at Chepstow Racecourse twenty-six years ago, with no idea, no equipment and no "First steps in Winemaking" Book by C.J.J.Berry! . . . . My next immediate "Step in Winemaking" after sampling a mouthful of the Resulting Dubious Liquid a few days later, was to hastily pour 29.9 bottles of this gross embarrassment down the Loo before anyone found me out as an inadequate cheap-skate Grog-maker! . . . . don't make my Mistake! Get Wise, buy this Book . . . . I wish I'd known then what I know now! If only I'd mixed in some suitable additives, left the wine to matureand kept it longer at the correct temperature it would have escaped its demise in the Loo. Tip: Buy and read this Book, even if you're an experienced Home wine maker, there's so much we didn't know we didn't know! Full of great tips, ideas, facts and Help and advice from the wine expert, C.J.J.Berry, as his name might suggest, he knows a thing or two about Berries!
