Fused Glass Heart sculpture on glass base.

DESCRIPTION

This beautiful hand-crafted fused glass floral heart has been made by me in my studio.

The heart sculpture is a unique handmade item, the one in the photo is the one that you will receive.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The design has been made with pieces of clear and coloured Art glass layered in a casting mould. The piece is then fused in my kiln to melt the glass and form a solid heart.

Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.

SIZE DETAILS:

The glass heart measures approximately 10cm wide x 10 cm tall (at the widest points) x 1 cm deep. 
The base is an oval measuring 10 x 8 cm at the widest points. 

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully packed with tissue paper packing. The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by Tracked 48 Royal Mail. 

This item is ready for dispatch within 1-2 days.
