Large Fused Glass Sea Horse 

A beautiful hand-crafted fused Glass Sea Horse which makes a delightful ornament or gift. The design has a textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!

They are handmade so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.

Creative Process

The piece has been made using glass frits (tiny pieces of glass) in a combination of greens and blues. The various colours are arranged inside a mould to give the desired colour scheme. The piece is then fired in the kiln until it is completely melted and forms the shape and contours of the mould.  The firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.

Size is approximately 24 cm long x 9cm wide x 1.5 cm deep supplied in a strong brown gift box.

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully packed.  The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by Tracked 48 Royal Mail.
