DESCRIPTION

This beautiful hand-crafted fused Glass Bowl makes a perfect statement centrepiece for any table and functional too! 

This is a one of a kind handmade item, so the one in the picture is the one you will receive.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The piece has been made by firstly cutting circles from clear and coloured glass which are then fired together in the kiln to make a solid and very strong piece. On a second firing the glass is placed on a ceramic mould which slumps the flat piece into a bowl. Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.

This is a large heavy bowl, hand washing is recommended.

SIZE DETAILS:

The bowl measures approximately 36.5cm in diameter x 5.5cm high at the rim. 

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully wrapped inside a box with tissue paper packing. The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by Tracked 24 Royal Mail.
