Seascape Picture in a slim white frame

Creative Process

Glass powders and small pieces of coloured glass have been arranged on a coloured base to make the design. The piece is then fired in my kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass only just starts to melt and becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed to give it durability and strength. The finished piece has then been carefully mounted onto a slim white frame. 

Size Details

The glass piece measures approximately 10cm x 10cm and the frame measures approximately 20cm X 20cm square. 

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and then carefully packed and sent by Tracked 48 Royal Mail using only recycled, biodegradable or paper packing.
